We will set clear objectives to ensure continuous improvement in our health and safety performance.
1. (a) It is the policy of Timber Kit Solutions to take all measures as far as is reasonably
practicable, to provide safe and healthy working conditions for all staff.
(b) To ensure the health and safety of visitors, contractors and any others who may be affected
by the company’s activities.
The company will provide the necessary resources and seek the cooperation of all staff for the purpose of implementing the policy.
2. The objectives of the policy are as follows:
(a) To promote standards of health, safety and welfare and the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 along with all other statutory provisions and approved codes of practice.
(b) To provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and working environment, safe plant & equipment, safe systems of work and to protect employees and others who may be affected by work operations.
(c) To provide staff with the information, instruction, training and supervision that they need to work safely and efficiently and to develop safety awareness.
(d) To promote the safe use, handling, storage and transport of all articles and substances.
(e) To define all individuals responsibilities for health and safety matters.
(f) To encourage full and effective joint consultation on all health and safety matters.
3. The policy will be subject to review and revision when considered necessary or in any event at an interval not exceeding two years.
